Trinity (Pigeon Point, III)

This is my favorite run for family paddling. My family ran it before in 2004 and my son and I did in this summer of 2007. My paddling friend, AlanG has organized his family trip in Labor Day weekend every year for over ten years and gave us kind invitation to his trip in last sumer again. We camped there for three nights. It was huge group of his family, parents of Laura (his wife), fiance of Dallen (Alan's oldest son) and her parents and a sister, families of his neighbors, and family of Alan's paddling friend, totally over 20 people. Laura served delicious dishes every night.

Yuriko (right) did this run three years ago. How would her paddling be this time? Kenya (left) did it only a month ago, but portaged twice. He decided not to portage this time.

She succeeded in doing it this time. She wanted to repeat it, so I carried her IK above this rapid. She made it twice of total three times trial. She was so happy and proud of her success.


Kenya at the Hell Hole. Unfortunately, he could not make it, but his swimming was only at the Hole. Next day, he portaged it. His return match will be in next season.
