SF Yuba (Edward to Purdon, IV)

This is nice and popular classIV run (four miles), but is not long-runnable because of the upstream dam. I usually kayak this run for a couple of times a year.
Yuba river south fork Edwards to Purdons

This run had often muddy water. Pictures were taken on different days of clear and muddy water.
This is class IV rapid just below the put in.

The same classIV.

The hardest rapid in this run. Far right was the line.

There is an undercut just beneath the middle horizontally long rock.

Eric was on the line for the same rapid.

A six-foot drop.
